Frost-Sworn Talisman

Seventy four wishes. The kitsune priestess slipped through my grasp like sand through a grate, separating the world humans from the world of spirits. Her banner vanished before my very eyes, leaving only a trace phantasm of a future wherein I obtained Yae Miko. The combined duration of twenty-one days was not enough to secure her position amongst the ranks of my Gacha Gladiators... So be it.

And thus, I continued to wish. My devotion to Yae Miko met the end of its abbreviated life at the seventieth wish. It was not until the arrival of a certain wind-blown ronin that I continued my woeful wishing... However, at the seventy-fourth wish, I was greeted with a 5 star at last.

Anticipation and Anxiety. Excitement and Excruciation. Hope and Despair.

All these feelings drifted through the stellar plane of my soul like stars across the heben night sky as my eyes traced the arc of the final wish as it blazed across the heavens. Unfortunately, all of my hopes were shattered in a single, infinitesimal instant. My eternal nemesis, my forsworn fifty-fifty futilator betrayed my expectations.. QiQi, the gentle undead child, joined my community of combatants... Krgh... In all honesty, she is likely my most despised character in all of Genshin Impact's cast... But I would never say such a thing to her... Even my black heart like my mine lacks the cruelty to say such barbarous things to one as young as her... I'm certain... That I can find it within me to love her just as much as my other 5 stars...
