IDK HOW THIS WORKS

Im Eze and i want to connect with people and stuff but HOW. do I just add them as friends if I think their cool or do I talk to them first? im scared of talking to people in general but i want to push myself so i came here cuz, its the internet :) and i think ill meet a bunch of cool people here but i just dont know how to start any sort of interaction even if its just adding them as a friend (´ᨓ`) PUHLEEZ tell me if i can just add people or if i have to do something first . thanks =)
