I feel like back in the day you could find someone advertising their Warriors rp and it’d be with some friends and like the only rules were to not be too op
Nowdays you go on Disboard and like the most basic wc roleplays are like: “rules: must type at least an essay per action, must use these specific prefixes and these specific suffixes, must have at least 5 interactions and have ridden a rollercoaster with another cat to be mates, must spin 6 times and do a backflip irl every 3 weeks to age up…”

I was never into Warrior Cats but I remember seeing those role players everywhere back in the day. However I was very into generic anime type role plays, ones where you just make your own character and have your own lore and world building and all that.
I don't role play in general anymore either but the last few times I did try to get back into it I ran into the same issues, role players my age are elitists over it. They want you to send essays and type as if you have a degree in language and writing or whatever. They're also very picky about characters to the point you get rejected if your character isn't a super interesting character with pages worth of backstories.
