Mum

I remember my mum always used to tell me not to wear the hair tie on my wrist. She told me it would hinder the blood flowing towards the hand,. I remember wearing it on my wrist every night for her to notice. I pretended to be asleep until she'd notice. She'd sit next to me, get the hair tie off my wrist and just stay there for a few seconds. Those few seconds were the happiest for me. I miss you, I love you
