Such a cute site!

Hey how's it going! My name's Gacha and I've recently learned about this website. I really miss websites like this one from my childhood lol, so I'm glad there's another place just like the past. I got a tumblr as well, but I don't know things have changed so much on that site that it's not really the same. And people who aren't familiar with how the platform works have been migrating to the place in droves and it's starting to annoy me :P

I finally have a place just like the past internet to share my daily happenings lol. I guess I'll just start by saying that I only recently became an art teacher for the summer and it's very fun, though I only have one student at the moment. I teach this 6 year old girl named Khaleesi (yes like the Game of Thrones character) and she's so cute! She's kinda energetic but you know how 6yr olds are.

Right now we're learning how to sketch and stuff, and tomorrow we will learn how to mix colors (she is SUPER excited about that.) It's pretty fun to just babysit a kid for 4 hours and draw and watch pony shows all day. I've prepared some fun movies and activities to keep her busy since I read that kids need structure and a decent schedule or else they go off the rails and get bored.

When I was a kid, I really liked watching this one youtuber named DrawingWiffWaffles, and I think she'll REALLY like Waffles since she always made pretty kid friendly content. Lol the first day I made the mistake of playing a vine compilation and there were swear words in it T_T

I was SO embarrassed. She was just giggling and laughing the whole time at it though, and I couldn't have the other class next door hearing, so I quickly changed it to an animal documentary. She seems to really like drawing animals and stuff, right now we're both trying to draw my little pony characters. I'll update tomorrow if I'm not too exhausted <3
