Dripping Damask

June twelfth... An opprobrious date that many wise individuals associate with the introduction of the savage and brutal trolls in Homestuck... Though this has been the primary connection to the date in my mind for years, today marks an exception in the calendar. The truth has been made unbearably clear to me, and I can resist the consequences no longer! It is not just 6/12, the Troll Day, but also 6/12, Grimace From McDonald's birthday! As a form of celebration, the atrocious fast food chain and their golden arches are promoting a special drink - The Grimace Milkshake... I often enjoy occasional and exciting fast food promotion, but at the same time, I do not hold McDonald's in particularly high regard... However, I fancy myself somewhat of a milkshake gourmet, and as such, I had no choice but to procure this Grimace Milkshake, and unearth the hidden flavors buried within! 

As expected, the fries were subpar, and as bland and flavorless as usual. However, perhaps by the kindness of my guardian angel, my spicy Chicken McCrispy concealed not one chicken patty, as custom, but two chicken patties! Truly, I could not have been more pleased... And finally, as for the Grimace Milkshake in question... It was nearly indistinguishable from a plain vanilla milkshake. I adore a vanilla milkshake, but this was somewhat of a letdown nonetheless, as my suspense and anticipation were both at an all time high... Visually, a slight purple color was present, which was fascinating, even if it were far from appetizing. As for the taste, there was an incredibly subtle berry flavor, which I did not find particularly delectable or unfavorable. Truly... McDonald's has disappointed me once again... Keheheh... Perhaps once I take the throne, I shall have to make some personal adjustments to the cursed restaurant!
