tldr; Reddit's API changes are dumb as balls.
So I use reddit a fair bit for my social media stuff. Namely because it's not really about socializing and more about content aggregation which is usually why Im on reddit. Im there to waste time with mindless posts about cats or memes or whatever.
Many folks (including me) use third-party clients to view reddit. This is because reddit's main site and app are kinda awful and ad ridden. Third-party clients use reddit's api to talk to reddit and get all the post information from the site. Reddit has decided to start charging for access to the api, and not cheaply either. This pretty much kills the third-party clients leaving only reddit's main app.
In short, fuck that. Gonna stop using reddit for a while. Mostly gonna bounce between here and tumblr.

In retrospect, I did not move here
I just moved to tumblr
I keep saying I should be here more but the state of public blogs and sheer number of people who are... not interesting to interact with(mostly teens, no offense) keeps turning me away. Gotta sit down and find people I like.
