Last week I decided to have a whole movie day to myself, just to clear out afew films in my watchlist. I watched 5 movies total, and heres what I thought of them!
DEAD RINGERS (1988) - EEK! THIS IS SO *MESSED UP*! some really nice cinematography here, jeremy irons is pretty great too. would you believe me if I said this was my first ever cronenberg film? lol
GET CRAZY (1983) - This was like if Phantom Of The Paradise was really, really stupid. and not very good. Loved it!
CRIMES OF PASSION (1984) - Really cool! surprisingly progressive portrayal of sex workers (for the time atleast.) Anthony Perkins fuckin KILLS IT in his role.
LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM (1988) - "Wow, pagan religions are so scary" kind of horror which is unfortunate. But here atleast they have fun with it.
CUTIE HONEY (2004) - Not to be confused with the OVA series which I already adore. I loved this one to bits too though! Easily the best film i watched out of the bunch.
And that was my movie day! Feel free to check out any of these films if you wanna take a peek into the kind of garbage my brain thrives on.
