theme questions.....

i REALLY want to make my own theme for my page on here bc i cant find something i like and editing within spacehey is a hassle >_> so i have a few questions!!

1. where are you guys finding the basic css to edit in the first place??? im like blind lol

2. is there a way to add a fully custom contact table picture? i found this really cute one of vash the stampede on glitter-graphics and id REALLY like to use it but have no idea how to set it up :(
