can someone PLEASE help me with where to buy gyaru clothing? I have struggle with where to buy it, some of it is only Hime gyaru, and some of the other websites aren't even real, i want to be a gyaru but I don't know where to start!!!
I have also been told by other people that you need to be a specific race to be Gyaru, is that true?? pls, help me!!

FIRST UP YOU DONT NEED TO BE JAPANESE TO BE GAL!!! ALSO YOU COULD TRY TO SEARCH FOR THINGS ON MECARI!! MECARI IS REALLY GOOD CUZ MOST. THINGS ARE PRICED FAIRLY :33333

FYI you don't NEED the brands to be gal. Like if you want them people sell some stuff on mercari/eBay but just look at references and try to make it as close as you can!

As with any fashion scene or culture, you don't need to be a specific race to participate! Just keep in mind the cultural aspects of the fashion and the context it's worn in, and do your research on which trends or styles that may be specific to a certain ethnicity to avoid appropriation. As for where to shop, searching up keywords on mainstream sites could help! It depends on the kind of clothes you're going for, but sites like yesstyle and shein are a good place to start as very big retailers with a large selection of styles for different genres of fashion. Thrifting is also a good bet. These are generic answers, but I'm sure people can provide more specific help if you share some pictures of the specific style you're going for!

i'm white so if a poc tells u otherwise believe them, but a while ago i asked a black gyaru if i could be gyaruo being white and they told me it's totally fine. of course i'm not going to tan and overline lips and that stuff but i can be part of the culture, and so can you! :)
