TO
(i am in no way shape or form a great writer i just wanted to have some fun, please enjoy)

(this story is based in the year, 1973)

-it was late and dark out. a young woman named Katherine, was being stalked, and she didn't know it yet... she was enjoying the night as she walked home, taking in the dim street lights that kindled the pavement of the sidewalks. to her knowledge, it was just a normal evening in her town. following behind her, in the shadows was a tall figure with deep cherry wood colored eyes that perceived her. a demon amongst men. The vampire. his footsteps followed her as quietly as a fox on snow. he thought she was magnificent, and the most delectable looking woman, he has ever laid his eyes on.

she walked into a convenience store, wanting to get something to drink before she went home. a nice cold beer to settle down for the rest of the night. She bought herself a Foster's beer, but she looked around the store as well. Nothing really seemed to have peaked her interest besides wanting a beer, and a pack of smokes.-

"How is your night going Katherine? regular corsair's?" asked the clerk

"Oh im doing fine Angie. And yes please." Katherine replied as she set her beer on the counter.

Katherine rummaged through her pocket for her wallet, and handed the clerk her money.
"Did you hear about that murder on Mills End?" the clerk asked

"I did.. its so strange isnt it? To be killed on the street, and to be so petrified? I just wonder how long that they were there.." Katherine wondered aloud.

"it is odd... Be safe Katherine, you never know what monsters can be out there." the Angie said a bit worried as she handed back her change

"Ill be fine, i promise" Katherine said with a smile
"have a nice evening, Angie" Katherine waved as she left the convenience store, and went back on her way home, with the unknowing stranger still trailing behind her, as if he didn't exist in the night. He pondered to himself as he gazed at this woman. He wondered about her, and her life.. But he had no reasoning to ruin her joy going home. No. He wanted to just watch her a bit longer before he took any initiative on what he truly wanted to do. He studied her with his cold hungry eyes, dreaming of what horrid things he could do to her, she just reeked with this tang he enjoyed so much. Delectable.
