Strawberry Lemonade recipe!!!

hELLOE FRIENDs!!! i'm doing another drink recipe decided by my friends using a poll! it was decided that strawberry lemonade was the most requested, so i'm doing that! hope you enjoy!!

this will probab ly go great with some garlic bread grilled cheese, so i'm going to make that recipe right after this one!!

Now, let's get started!!

♡ 1/2 pounds fresh, unfrozen strawberries, stems removed

♡ 1½ cups granulated sugar

♡ 4½ cups water, divided

♡ 1 ½ cups lemon juice

now, let's get started!!

it's a rather simple recipe, so i hope it's easy and enjoyable for you to do!!

first, .puree your strawberries in a blender or food processor (i personally used a blender) then strain through a mesh sieve to remove seeds if you want, i personally left the seeds in cuz i like them :)))

In a small saucepan, add two cups of water and your desired amount of sugar (i personally used 3 tsps) stir over medium heat, then bring to a boil and stir until all the sugar is dissolved, after that, remove it from the stove and leave to cool down to room temperature!! 

pour your lemon juice into a 2 quart pitcher (or just any pitcher really), add the strawberry puree and the syrup you made, stir to combine, then leave in the refrigerator till cold!(i left mine in for about 30-50 mins!!) once cold, take out and add a cup of water then stir, serve with ice!! ^_____^

you can add any amount of water you want! if you feel that your drink is too sweet after one cup of water, add extra water to ur liking :3
