upon my stomach, a tapestry of bite-marks, pale as milk, fading with the ebb of time,
dissolving into an indistinct sea of fluff, mirroring the haze of my recollections.
returning to the very maws that birthed them, they gurgle and spew falsehoods,
perhaps those marks were never the imprints of teeth, but illusions of veracity.
a vacuole lingers beneath my skin, a void where tender rabbit flesh once nestled,
i feel its absence, an abyss yearning for substance, a testament to my suffering.
but how can i prove its existence, this ethereal loss that haunts me?
with no cause to fret or conceal, what purpose does a rabbit serve but to selfishly deceive?
thus, i offer my body to a spiraling vortex of gnashing teeth,
submitting to the ravenous beasts as they tear me asunder, limb from limb.
from my once-healed wound, a grotesque spectacle unfurls—a twirling supernova,
ribbons and entrails in a macabre dance, a testament to their insatiable hunger.
they devour every morsel of my being, leaving naught but hollow skin and bare bone,
under the starlit night, i find solace, trembling and weeping,
my tears blend and swirl in pools of my own lifeblood and ichor,
retching, convulsing, my very essence quivers in agony.
above, scavengers linger, swathes of foreboding darkness,
intently awaiting the last breath to escape my defiled vessel,
once tender fur, ears like spring petals, plush tail, pure and untainted like fresh snowfall,
now matted and consumed, marred by the stain of sin,
a repulsive amalgamation of their selfishness and my own.
i am nothing but their fodder, marked by their relentless hunger,
more bite-wound than rabbit, the scars etched deep within my being.
no longer burdened by the need to prove myself,
yet, i am left with an even larger void,
a yawning abyss that consumes all that remains
echoes of what once thrived, now fragmented and silenced,
a stark contrast between the innocence of the rabbit's origin and its tainted fate,
once precious and whole, now diminished and defiled,
i am a testament to the voracity of darkness, marked and consumed,
left with nothing to prove, and yet, left with nothing at all.
