Just a little vent

I hate it when i get geeked about something and tell one of my friends about it and I'm met with so much diss interest- like sometimes they'll literally go through the trouble of making it seem less cool! Even if they're not interested in my rants they could at least pretend like they are and move on to a different topic they'd like to talk about! I'd prefer that to being completely shut down :( for example earlier today i was talking to my friend about how amazing i think spacehey is! And they literally shot it down faster than i brought it up, immediately calling it "weird" in a bad way. I get that not everyone wants a paragraph on a film I'm obsessed with atm or me geeking out about something I'm interested in but some people could be a little more nice about it in my opinion :/
