Taking a Summer Art Class (5/30/23 - 6/5/23)

Well, this week was one crazy week! 

(5/30/23)

I began a summer painting class at my college to try and earn some college credits (also because art is fun), and today was my first day! I went to school at 10 AM, and the class lasted until 12PM. The room we did our class in was this beautiful room with art pieces from many different students that have come and gone over the years. We all were introduced to the professor, and then all introduced ourselves, and then she went over the rules and guidlines in the classroom, and then she got us to work on some painting basics, such as strokes, learning which brushes to use for what, etc. We used them for a basic painting, and mine was of a mountain, surrounded by a field of grass. The teacher said liked it, much to my joy, and then class was over, and I went home.

I dug out my old Wii again today, and I continued to play Wii Sports. I had made significant progress toward Pro Class in all 5 sports, and today, I made it there, even beating the Champion of Tennis, Elesa, meaning I'm also the new Tennis Champion! I know there have been plenty of folks before me who have accomplished this task, but I'd like take this moment to personally give myself the Title of "Champion of Tennis"! Maybe there's also a world tournament for Wii Sports players. If not, there should be! LOADS of people would enter! The Wii Sports community is alive and well!

(6/1/23)

Went driving today. It went pretty well, I'm learn more rules of the road, and going brand new places! I have yet to go onto the freeway, but I'm certain that will happen soon. For now, I just practiced driving on less busy roads, working on the basics suchas stopping at stoplights, Making sharp turns, and turning into and out of parking lots. I also practiced parallel and perpindicular parking, which has been harder for me than anything else so far. I'm sure with enough work though, I'll get the hang of it soon! It'll be worth it though, once i get my license!

(6/2/23 - 6/4/23)

I had another weekend of work today, so things weren't that eventful. Work is basically just me cleaning tables and the rest of the store. I did, however, buy my first ever lottery ticket Friday, and I won $25! I bought another one on Saturday, and won ANOTHER $25! I thought it was crazy, and just HAD to try on Sunday, but when I bought the ticket and scratched it off, I found my luck had finally run out! Each ticket cost $10, so $50-$30 left me with a profit of $20! It might be much, but let me remind you, I got this from doing nothing other than scratching 2 tickets! Imagine if THAT was my job! I'm sure I'd not have as much about work to talk about on SpaceHey, I feel, although I could use the opportunity to brag to you about how easy my lottery scratching jobs is, of course! XD
