Homemade strawberry Pancakes (requested by Zaire!!)

This is probably my simplest but also my most favorite recipe :p, it's a fluffy and light strawberry pancake recipe! it's very quick, and shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes, this makes around 3-4 [large] pancakes each :]

ingredients

♡ 1.5 cup of plain flour (225g)

♡ 1 tbsp sugar (16g)

♡ 1 tbsp baking powder

♡ 1 pinch salt (one quarter to half of a teaspoon is a good amount!!)

♡ 3 tbsp butter (45g)

♡ 1.25 cup milk (310g)

♡ 2 tsp vanilla essence

♡ 1 egg

♡ 1 cup diced strawberries (leaves removed, obvi!!!!)

now, let's get cooking!!

first, whisk together the dry ingredients in a large bowl, then, melt some butter (i usually do this in a microwave-proof bowl large enough to hold every wet ingredient, which saves time on dishwashing!! :]) after the butter is fully melted, whisk together the other wet ingredients (vanilla essence, egg, milk.) add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well, don't worry about lumps. leave the batter for 10 minutes, then, fold the strawberries into the batter!!

we'll pour the batter into the pan now :]

just fry them like you would regular pancakes, you won't get perfect circles due to the strawberries, but they'll still be delicious!!! :]

tips!!

♡ To know the right time to flip your pancake, check if the bubbles forming on the side facing up are starting to pop, if they're popping, then it's good to flip!

♡ not related to this recipe, but a replacement for buttermilk is super simple! all you need is vinegar and milk! First, pour the milk into a bowl, then add half a tablespoon of white vinegar, mix and then leave for 5 minutes to sour! ^^
