Rax Roast Beef - Dickety-dee!

My friend Eric (onesixfive) and I have now both vlogged 1 of the 8 remaining Rax Roast Beef fast food restaurants in the United States, and the only one to remain in Illinois. A piece of history that lost the roast beef war to Arby's many, many years ago. Yet, is still somehow hanging on by a thread. Eric and I are both lucky enough to have one nearby in Joliet, Illinois. And we have each covered it in our own, very unique way lol. Actually, his is a lot more creative than mine. But, between the two of us I think we managed to cover this location pretty well. From the restaurant's history, to the very retro carpeted '90s vibe inside, to the lore of its "colorful" (irony intended) cartoon mascot Mr. Delicious. If you are interested in restaurant/retail history, please give both videos a watch in any particular order. I think you will enjoy them. I have only a very specific memory of this chain from my childhood that I discuss in my video. By the age range I see of most people on this platform, I doubt 95% of the people reading this have heard of "Rax". Do you even know what a Ponderosa is? lol But I bet you've heard of Arby's. If so you need to watch these videos. It's like Beta losing to VHS, but again I realize the age range of folks here and I really need to stop making myself sound old lol. And that "Ponderosa" thing, I'll be covering that on my channel soon as well!
