Writing 100 Words Per Day: Aumetra the Witch

The full moon produced a soft glow on the night of all hallows eve. Aumetra had been waiting many moons for this evening to arrive. Now that it was finally here, and after all of her training, she was more excited than ever to put her knowledge to good use. Aumetra’s mother had been burned at the stake when she was only six years old, leaving her in the care of her grandmother, a powerful witch. Her grandmother had taught her the art of necromancy which had taken many years to master, especially when it came to the corpses of large animals such as bears or alligators. Tonight, she would use her abilities to take revenge upon the animalistic humans who had heartlessly incinerated her mother and add them to her undead army.
