Sonic 06 and music

Personally I really love Sonic 06 even through all its jank. But even if you hate the game you can definitely appreciate the soundtrack of the game. Tomoya Ohtani has been the main sound director for sonic for a few years now, with sonic 06 being his first game and he did such a great job. 

Sonic 06 has great sounding music with reoccurring leitmotifs throughout which I think help perfectly convey emotion and ideas (Ohtani has later done this in other games where the execution of these leitmotifs is also beautiful). Sonic 06 also has such a large soundtrack and nearly all the tracks sound incredible to me. The lyrics to vocal tracks are clever and also beautiful to listen to. I am not the biggest fan of Elise but I do think her vocal track, My Destiny, is astounding and the singers vocals add to it. 

In conclusion, 

Game jank, soundtrack good :P
