im trying to figure out how to make a small point and click game, i have been getting familiar with game maker 2 but i thought it could be executed in the form of a website instead, unfortunately im not super familiar with the mechanics necessary for that and website builders dont seem to allow for the freedom i would need to do what i want to.

also, if you prefer to stick with gamemaker 2 you can research the exporting to html5 option!

hey!! i'm interested in making a point and click game too! i don't know about browser game stuff, but there's this free specialized program called adventure game studio! i've been tinkering with it and it seems relatively easy to get the hang of. there's an online manual as well as tutorials on youtube, you can load up one of the templates and switch out assets to help you figure out how to use it
