my 3D animation stuff

I was waiting to graduate high school for me to make this blog but my school district got rid of the animation major before I could enter my senior year so UMMM here it is !!! No more animation major HAHAHAHahah...a... WAHHHHHH !!!!
I did cooler stuff during my junior year. All of my work in 10th grade was just boring practice assignments that have been lost in the abyss of my deleted files that can never be recovered!
OK HERE'S LIKE... TWO PROJECTS I'M PROUD OF THESE BECAUSE JUNIOR YEAR WAS A BLUR AND 3D MODELING IS SO TEDIOUS SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO DO A BUNCH OF STUFF OKAY!?!?! Okay, cool, anyways...

This was the first project we were assigned. We had to make a 3D isometric room with a theme and decor and stuff. I wanted to make mine a vaporwave arcade room? Obviously, it looks shabby cause I was just a sleep-deprived 16-year-old high school girl. I remember having to stay after school to finish it too AND IT'S STILL INCOMPLETE UGHRHRGHGRHR but the teacher gave me a full score anyways hehe. The left side of the room is so horrid.

Putting a watermark cuz there are some freaks out there who like to steal stuff... DON'T STEAL MY SHIT YOU REALLY HAVE TO BE A LOW-LIFE TO BE TAKING ART FROM A TEEN !!!

Close-ups!:

This was supposed to be a shelf with silly figures and game cases but I didn't have time to design and texture them
^^ This was supposed to be a shelf with game cases and silly figures but I didn't have enough time to create and add the textures.

^^ OOO fancy!! The only two game cabinets in the whole room that ACTUALLY have a screen with glowing lights! I didn't have time to add a glowing screen to all the cabinets. Peep the funky carpet design and stool!

^^ A table that has cups and empty soda cans but the render is so janky it makes it barely noticeable... But it adds character to the scene, right?

^^ See those glowing stars? Those were an accident. To this day I don't know how I made those glow, but it makes it cooler.

OK NEXT PROJECT: A SNOW GLOBE!! (my teacher actually complimented me and said she really liked this piece hehe...)
I actually have a rendered video of the stars and spirals spinning, but they're on the google drive of my school account so like ummmm.... I kinda don't wanna share that publicly, y'know? The rendering was an absolute HELL though!! Took an ENTIRE CLASS PERIOD (86 mins) to produce BARELY 3 SECONDS OF A VIDEO!!!
Okay so my snow globe theme was stars and spirals... I fucking love stars. The base is a rounded star shape, and the glass is supposed to be a round bottle! This was also our first time learning how to use particle systems.

ANNNDDD... that's it LOL. I KNOOWWWW ONLY TWO PROJECTS ISN'T ENOUGH BUT THE PROJECT AFTER THESE WAS A MODELING A MEDIEVAL CABIN THAT I DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE, AND WE GOT INTO OUR CHARACTER DESIGN UNIT WHICH INVOLVED DRAWING ON PHOTOSHOP WHICH is another blog for another time ;)

Also here take this bonus image. It's a picture from my final exam day where I had to model and rig a 3D male model then animate 2 different dynamic walk cycles. SPOILER ALERT!! I didn't complete it LMGFAOFOAOOA (im about to burst into flames).

THANK YOUUU !! :D
3d animation and modeling are so tedious like there's so much stuff that's done behind the scenes it almost makes it painful :') but the result is always worth it

yes yes, but im sure you must be so proud after you're finished!! it may take long and be hard work but it's so so worth it :D
ive only done 2D animation, i dont even want to imagine how long it takes for 3D since there's also rendering and the programs seem so complicated ;-;

i wanted to do 2d animation but when the teacher said we were doing mainly 3d animation i was pretty bummed out.
BUT! It gave me a deeper appreciation for 3d animation, and I'm starting to become more interested in it since stylized 3d animation is starting to rise (Arcane, Spiderverse, Puss in Boots The Last Wish, etc.)

omg yes, 3D is indeed the most used rn!! even in 2D, we use certain 3D assets im pretty sure? ALWAYS USEFUL
i wish you the best of luck with animation and modeling <3 NEVER GIVE UP
not to mention all the future job opportunities thanks to this area of work >.<
ive heard so many people worked on the across the spiderverse movie with 3D, digital painting and so on ITS SO IMPRESSIVE. you are already on the right track, you could try 2D animation in your free time or anywhere in the future
