iphone magsafe first impressions

whats up gamers, i just bought a magsafe charger for my iphone 13 cause the chargerport was getting really dusty and not working reliably. i bought a cleaner for it but thats just so i can still use it in my car cause i dont have bluetooth in my car. i also got a metal ring that you put on the back of your case cause mine isnt made for magsafe and i really like the kitty design on it.

so far it does the thing advertised, it really is charging my phone. the magnet is pretty strong, seems like it wont go anywhere unless i chuck it across the room while i sleep. not really much more to say. having this chunk of metal on the back is kinda weird but its not that bad. guess thats what im sacrificing.

ok now for some hopes and dreams for the future. i hear they're thinking of getting rid of the charging port for later iphones, a lot of people dont really like this, reasonably so. but i dont see that much of a problem with it. what i do want or wish for is that they (in a very ironic move) bring back the aux port to replace it. so i dont have to use a stupid dongle anymore and it sounds better (?) cause it has a good dac in it. (i dont know how audio works) but yeah that would be nice. music is just really important to me and i would like to plug in my iphone into some sort of high quality home setup like you could with the ipod.
