I HATE SMALL TALK

how the HELL do people manage to talk abt shit like the weather and how others r doing. FIRST OF ALL unless you are literally going thru some huge ass natural disaster THE MOST U CAN SAY ABT WEATHER IS THAT "its rainy today" or "wow it is so hot outside" LIKE WHERE DO U GO FROM THERE... and when someone asks how ur doing like ATLEAST 75% of the time they actually dont care abt how ur doing and u just have to say ur doing fine. CUZ LIKE IF U TELL THEM YOUVE HAD A BAD DAY OR SMTH THEY WILL NOT KNOW HOW TO RESPOND.. when i talk to someone i expect to either have a full blown discussion abt smth we're both interested in, or some deep ass philosophical conversation. plus small talk is literally SO SCARY.. like theres always an awkward silence after u say how ur doing (fine) where both of u have no idea what to say. if u try doin small talk with me i will either IGNORE YOU or change the topic in any way i can (point out an interest of urs that i like. i cannot function if we do not like the same artist or video game or wtv)
