random facts about sea animals

sorry if these seem like basic facts i just like doing small research on things when i get bored

★ moon jellyfish barely sting, it'll sting only a little

☆ male seals are called bulls and female seals are called cows

★ seals are related to bears, skunks, and tigers

☆ seahorses like long-term relationships

★ seahorses are really bad swimmers and are one of the slowest fish in the sea

☆ sea bunnies are hermaphrodites, meaning they have both male and female traits

★ sea bunnies are very toxic because of the food they eat, which are sponges

☆ a dumbo octopus gets only 8 inches tall

★ axolotls can only live for about one hour out of water

☆ axolotls need brackish water which is a mix between salt water and fresh water

★ sea urchins are edible

☆ a sea urchin will hug your finger to see if your a predator or not, they will release if your neither

while researching i realized sea horses are a lot more cuddly than i thought and seals are a lot more violent than i thought ( i still love seals tho )
