Yaoi manga and not being able to focus on a screen

one of my friends who's basically my brother introduced me to the world of yaoi manga and i gotta say this is some wild shit. but in a good way. it's emotional stuff to read, makes you feel good at the end. i wish i could have a relationship like that sometimes.

i sit at my computer, listening to CSH, and read my gay books. but you know what i dont like?

reading manga digitally and just scrolling down to see the next page. honestly this could refer to reading anything digitally but im gonna talk about it in the context of yaoi because its relevant to me.

theres something thats just so ew and boring about reading it on my phone or something. dont get me wrong, my bbf (best bro forever) reads long mangas like this all the time. i get it. for the simplicity of having a whole series of books in your pocket, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and ive always wanted to be a pirate! (piracy).

if you had a gun to my head or something id probably (probably) endure reading a whole manga like this but i dont think id be as interested. theres just something about physically flipping pages that feels so good to me, feeling the book in my hands and seeing the orange tint and texture of the pages. shits so good...
