half baked idea but i was considering how society is structured in a way where working against one's own nature in pursuit of some form of success is in certain cases applauded (e.g. overworking, sexual repression), yet calling something "unnatural" is still considered a valid way to claim that something is bad
and not just that but what is socially viewed as natural or unnatural seems to overtake what is 'truthfully' natural or unnatural
i don't know i was reading this article on opposing intellectual property and somehow wound up thinking about this
let me know what you think ?

i feel like what is “natural” is what ppl think the average is, so generally if something is higher or lower than average it’s considered unnatural? idk

“unnatural” might just be a negative connotation of saying different or smth

yeahh,, that is weird. “truthfully” natural or unnatural, could that be what is biologically natural or unnatural? this reminded me of sapiens by yuval noah harari which ive been reading. he argues such a thing doesnt exist. anything a human is physically and biologically able to do has to be natural, by definition. yet society still condemns the unnatural (often using myths about science and biology). thats kinda whack ngl
