Nightmare | 23.05.23

I was walking on the path that is way too familiar to me. I was coming back from my grandma's with a bunch of goodies on me. Just like the red riding hood but instead of a basket, my grandma's doughnuts were packed carefully in my backpack. 

I was walking down this path in a forest all of a sudden. Funny thing my city is barely close to any forest. As I was munching on one of them delicious doughnuts I saw her, with the corner of my eye. She was hanging by a breanch, her neck abnormally long and her skin way too blue (but not in a "Avatar" type of way). I dropped everything in that moment. Backing away from the disturbing scene in front of my eyes. Hoping I would get home faster I ran. Not long after I heard movement behind me. I was chased. I knew it was her. She was supposed to be dead yet...she wasn't. 

I made it home at the last second only to be left with a jumpscare as I was about to close the door in her face. I woke up instantly, my heart beating in my chest like crazy. 

RIP nightmare!me. You were probably left faceless.
