how the hell do i put a custom image as a background

im trying to follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIcDGa6y3zU&t=235s and for some reason whenever i put a image that i uploaded from imgur, it doesnt work, can someone help why

Well i have no idea but it could be imgur? Don't take my word y'know but it could be the site sometimes or where ya got it from

i tried imgbb and that worked much better than imgur
as it turns out they removed that feature from imgur
