Graduating Highschool

I can’t believe I’m graduating. It took me so much to get where I am now, I am happy that I made it. Even in the beginning of my senior year, I couldn’t believe that I was one of the “oldest” in the school, you know that feeling? Like, I used to feel like everyone in higher grades were “cool” and a “big deal” and I could never even talk to students older than me because I was so intimidated by them but honestly it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. 

Being away from family for a year and being the oldest child/daughter has gave me some challenges, but nothing I regret or couldn’t do. I know my past self has been through a lot and I hope to continue making small happy moments in my life that brings me comfort and joy <3

I am so proud of myself for going through those things, life taught me a lot and prepared me more for what’s coming next. I currently got into a school in my city as an accounting student and I couldn’t be happier! I passed for nursing at a school far away and as much as I’d love to attend a bigger university with more opportunities, I couldn’t leave home just yet, and I didn’t know if I would really enjoy my life there, I don’t want to be pressured into studying anymore. I want to make my own decisions in life and to choose what will benefit me more.

I am happy with the decision of me staying close by since it saves me tons of money for expenses and overall just a more enjoyable and comfortable experience :) I’m also going with my friend which makes the transition so much easier!! Anyways, I said too much, but I’m just really happy and relieved.

If you’re graduating this 2023, I am so proud of us! I am proud of you :)
