Journal Entry #50: 05/25/23 - Hmm, lots of fives...

It's my 50th journal post! That's kinda cool.

I've mostly been prepping for college, but I was able to get a free dozen of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme because I'm a graduate. I remember when they did this promotion in 2020; we got caught in the crossfire trying to get a (paid) dozen of our own.

I'm still waiting on a CD, but in the meantime, I was able to download Elastic Ocean by Nmesh. It's a really nice ambient album. I had tried to purchase it with a gift card before, but it was rejected. I tried it again today and it worked! Apparently, this album never had a physical release, yet within the download file, there are CD and jewel case accessories for it.

Oh, and I've changed up my computer's wallpaper. Now it looks like Finder! I've made it so the dock and overhead bar of info can't be seen, so it really looks like a computer with a face. For whatever reason, I've had trouble posting the photo here. Spacehey's been super wonky lately. But what do I know about servers and computers?

Tomorrow, I need to register for my move-in date. Other than that, I don't have much else to do. But I will be taking my sister with me to the gas station to look at snacks and probably get some slushies. 

Oh, and lastly here's the outfit I wore today! It's somewhat Y2K.
