Black ops 1 Zombies > Black ops 3 Zombies (IN TERMS OF CREEPINESS!!!!)

ive always been way more scared of black ops1 zombies than i have been of black ops3 zombies. both are super fun, but i like how creepy bo1 is. ive always been attracted to creepy stuff (prob cuz my dad would play scary games and watch scary movies) so seeing how desolate and bloody kino was when i first played it on bo1 blew me away. i remember being terrified to open a new door, and even more terrified to die and hear the laughing in the game over theme

I bought bo3 a few days ago because it was bundled with zombie chronicles for only 20 dollars and i thought to myself "its been a while since ive played zombies, and this one has waw, bo1, and bo2 maps" so the first map i loaded up was kino and i felt like it was off. i knew that obviously it was a different cod game so it would look new compared to bo1, but i felt like the game just wasnt as ominous as bo1. after i died i played the other maps and felt the same about them. they werent bad, they just werent the same.

i watched a video of someone playing the bo1 versions of the map and i noticed that they were super drab compared to the new ones. the blood everywhere was dark red, the most common colors were dry greys and browns. when i compared it to the bo3 version i noticed how saturated the colors were. the colors looked like they were all warm to me. 

But overall bo3 looks really good, seeing the original maps updated is super cool to me. i just wish that they couldve somehow made it creepier. im not sure how they wouldve done it, but its fine. i still have a lot of fun playing the bo3 versions.
