i am absolutetly in LOVE with the resemblance of anakin to alexandre cabanel's fallen angel painting like omg?? especially with hayden's facial expressions, particularly his eyes dude omigosh

delving more into that, if comparing anakin to the fallen angel/lucifer, in theory that would make the jedi angels. he was brought up as one, but fell to the dark side, or "sin". he was the most powerful of the jedi, but he wanted to have more power than just that, and rebelled. 

there's a great amount of biblical parallels in star wars, and whether they were intentional or not, george lucas is a GENIUS.

this is (sort of?) common knowledge to star wars fans, but it fascinates me so much im a huge sucker for biblical references in media AAHHH (spoken as an evangelion fan)
