Cats are weird

My cat likes to be held instead of sitting on my lap, so he'll climb up on my lap and stand up with his paws on my shoulders and hop for me to catch him.. which is adorable except when he digs his claws into my shoulder because he doesn't want to fall the 2 inches off me Dx 

Anone else's animals do funny stuff like this?

and of course gotta pay the tax so here's a picture of the little man!!
