I Connected My Wii to The Internet! (5/22/23 - 5/23/23)

Today, I got a Wi-Fi stick, and connected my Wii to the internet! After that, I connected myself to Wiimmfi, which you can find here with this link: https://wiimmfi.de/patcher/iso

I used the Internet Channel to get to the site on my Wii, and from there, the patcher patched my Wii, so it got connected to the server, so I could then play Mario Kart Wii Online! It was fun to be able to relive the memories of using the old Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, even though the official Nintendo server got shut down a long time ago. Just like MySpace being released with SpaceHey, WFC got replaced with Wiimmfi, so it goes to show that nothing’s ever truly gone.
