this track is from their first album when Rozz Williams was still the lead singer. it's a deathrock/gothic rock song, and i love the vibes. a lot of Rozz's work is based around a morbid depiction of Christianity since he came from a southern baptist family that he didn't really belong in, especially as a queer person. i adore a good portion of his work, and the work of Christian Death altogether. (I do not condone or agree with Rozz's weird shit though, which i will go into below)

it should be noted that Rozz has also done a lot of problematic things, including satirical use of n-word in the 80's and eventually going down the nazi pipeline during his last mental spiral before his suicide. despite the fact that Rozz was very mentally unwell during this period, there is no excuse for nazism, and it's understandable if this is an artist you want to skip!
