Started Watching Monster with my Mom

To celebrate the upcoming Pluto anime adaptation coming out on Netflix, I decided to watch the Monster anime released on there with my mom. As she loves drama, crime, and mystery, the show matched her tastes well. She doesn't go out of her way to watch anime, but she's watched a few before.

So far, we're 20+ episodes in out of 74. It's been a while since I've read the manga. It's been a year in a half since I finished it! Yet, the anime adapted it really well. Scenes look different as manga panels and the TV screen are formatted differently, but they have similar feel. I'm glad the adaptation is as good as I've heard it being. My mom is also invested which is great! It's nice enjoying something I love with my mother. Hopefully, we can continue watching more when she gets her week-long vacation soon.
