vomit green

back home from the afternoon shift and I am really peeved. it's already annoying to do like 6 jobs at the same time at MINIMUM FUCKING WAGE but people talking shit about me on top of that is just too much. i don't even have the right uniform!! it's been months since i switched to the front desk and they still haven't given me a new one, im stuck with the vomit green dining room fit

I guess I should probably write a bit about my coworkers. at my main job as a concierge, I have 2 direct coworkers: cassidy and jake. I don't mind jake, he does his job and everything, but I'm really beginning to loathe cassidy. she skips out on work, calls out all the time, goes home early (at my expense!! i have to come in for her) and then has the nerve to whine about being broke all the time!!!! and on top of that shes always complaining to coworkers and managers about my work. Personally i think i do a lot! and a lot right, too!! but everyone is entitled to their own opinion i guess. even if the opinion is incredibly shit

jake is pretty cool tho. he does his job very well and he's usually very nice but apparently he talks shit about me a little bit behind the scenes which kind of sucks. But honestly if he’s mad at me its probably alot more warranted

while im on the general topic of work: outside of the front desk, I also do activities and marketing… and occasionally maintenance. that means I have to play bingo, tour rich people a room for meemaw, and: fix fuckin toilets. all for fifteen bucks an hour! great! and having 4 jobs in the same building means i get to be real familiar with all of the staff

my boss for activities is the same as my boss at the front desk: Janica. she's also hr and the business manager, so I guess she has as many responsibilities as I do…. which might be why she's so nice to me! however she really has a problem with romance in the workplace she'll talk to any man if she's bored enough lol

my marketing boss is Maxine. i like helping her out with tours cuz she gives me money herself afterwards. nice to get some appreciation every once in a while at least :p

and last and kind of least: my maintenance boss is Lance. huge dude who definitely peaked in high school football. every time something goes wrong at the desk he REALLY blames me it gets kind of annoying lol. otherwise tho hes chill and him and janica get along very well

well this post is getting kind of long but talking about the job really helps the stress from getting to be too much. there's more coworkers in all kinds of departments, but I'll save that exposition for later :p ill tell an actual story about old people later I promise XD
