A poem i made!

You say,

"Men and woman have equal rights!"

You say, 

"Just stop the fights!"

But if we had equal rights,

Then we should have the right to safety!

I should be able to,

Go on a walk, 

Without needing some kind of defense,

Without being told and lectured,

To not speak to anyone I don't know,

Without worrying if i'll go home that night!

I shouldn't be told what to wear because,

"I look like a whore!"

Or,

"I look like a boy!"

I wouldn't be forced into this mold,

Of what others want to see,

If I was simply born a male!

People say,

"She's A feminist!"

And,

"She's such a good person!"

But it should be know, 

As simple logic and human rights!
