reviews of animanga

yo! it's been 2 years since i last posted a blog entry, so i thought i'd make a post about the animanga i've watched or read ever since the last time i was active here. 

*i do not have the energy to make my blog as pretty as my profile, so bear with me. there also might be some grammatical and structural mistakes here and there, sorry about that. english is not my first language and i am too tired to care. 

  BLUELOCK 

- my most recent animanga! i watched the anime and caught up to the manga from where the anime ended. it's a solid read, and one i'm already familiar with. in late 2020, i read it because of my friend's recommendation, yet i easily got bored. there's nothing wrong with the series, i'm just not the biggest fan of sports anime. the manga's style also translated to the anime pretty well, to the point that sometimes i felt like i was reading a panel. probs 9.5, minus .5 because i cannot take it seriously. why are they sprouting death threats to eachother over a sport. is this normal. 

 TRIGUN (1998)

- only watched the anime, i have not read the manga yet. i'm also planning on watching trigun stampede, but i don't know when i'll find the time to do so. it was good, i had a few laughs here and then, but not really memorable. i have struggles with my memory, so if something isn't that memorable, i just forget about it. probs 8-7/10 (sorry trigun fans)

 SKIP TO LOAFER

- did not watch the anime, only read the manga. def one of my favorite reads this year, the characters felt so human and so relatable and were soooo cute. the artstyle is very appealing and suits the slice of life/comedy series of the manga as well. i might watch the anime, so here's to hoping they add it in netflix. 10/10

 OSHI NO KO 

- i did read the manga, but i haven't catched up to it yet, currently watching the anime. so far, i'm enjoying it, but it's pretty meh. the artstyle is good, translated pretty well from manga to anime, but there's just something that bores me for some reason. i've been a fan of oshi no ko since 2021, so i'm a bit dissapointed. 7/10 (animanga combined)

 HELL'S PARADISE

- read the manga and i'm currently watching the anime. hell's paradise is one of my favorite mangas, so i was very happy when i heard the news of an anime adaptation. the anime is.. okay. meh. like oshi no ko, a bit dissapointed, but at the same time it's okay. okay lang. meh. ganon. 10/10 for manga 6-7/10 for anime
