Random Project Sekai Drabble (part 1)

(putting part 1 on this cuz i bet im gonna make more of these)

Today's subject of the day is!!!:

Aoyagi Toya!

This lil guy is my favorite character so I thought it'd be good to ramble about him first!

I'm a proud believer of Tenma sibling Toya and I love his relationship with Saki and Tsukasa so much it makes me want to explode into confetti. Does this make sense? Probably not but it's how I feel so!!

I love how he interacts with everyone ever he's a sweetheart and he's trying his best to learn everything he can and take back the childhood that he never got to have!
Also his relationship with the rest of Vivid Bad Squad is so so so so special like he loves them all so much do you understand.

Even with the situation with his dad, he still loves his father and wants to fix their relationship while still doing the things that he loves. I get that some people might view Harumichi as like a completely abusive father and I see that but I also see that he's trying to change, at least a little bit. Family situation is weird, but they're trying their best to get through it!
Don't get me wrong though I still hate the dad with a burning passion -w-

I really like the headcanon that Toya actually dyed his hair after meeting Akito actually! I thought of it being a thing where he saw Akito dying his own hair (im also an "akito dyes his hair" believer) and thought "oh hey I could do that" and proceeded to dye half of his hair, partially to anger his father further and partially because he genuinely thought it would look nice, and he ended up liking it!!

The second ever event I ever experienced in Project Sekai was Nocturne Interlude (i first played the global version), and even though I was already interested in the game beforehand (Color of Myself is a really good event story btw), I feel like I first got properly into the game at around the time that Nocturne Interlude was going on, especially since that was when I started properly reading all of the main stories and not just Niigo's. Rad Dogs is an amazing song in my opinion, and it'll always live in my head rent free.

I have like an entire document of incoherent Project Sekai thoughts that I just write randomly without going back to edit, so it helps me see that there was a lot of thoughts of mine that have changed a bunch! In a good way btw! I feel like the social media and fandom side of Project Sekai helped me a lot in seeing lots of different perspectives, so I feel like that bit is definitely at fault for a lot of my opinions shifting.
There's a lot of good threads online related to all the Project Sekai characters, and I think they probably helped play a part in Toya being my favorite now. It could be that the fandom side that I kept running into was Toya-centered which. Yeah that sounds about right. But it's funny because before that it was all WxS and Niigo, and then it was Vivid Bad Squad, and now it's just everything because I love all the groups so much and I'm going to sob.
