A little confused tbh

For a long time I've been pursuing a medical career and I'm currently in medical classes so when I told my dad I wanna be an auto tech he was so pressed Abt it. I think he's upset I don't wanna actually do med stuff but ? He's trying to get me to go for something cooler like working on cars for NASCAR but I genuinely just want to work on normal cars. Maybe I'll try to be on a pit crew.
