Hi, everyone!
I just want to start off with, I'm sooooo sorry for not posting any new recipes. I have reasons, lol. 1. Lately I've been making repeats of meals, so nothing new. And 2. I actually started a job, my first job to be exact. I've been very busy with that and getting used to it. But, finally, I made something new, introducing Slow Cooker Carnitas! These came out so tender and delicious. So, if you would like to try this new recipe, come on...let's get to it!
Ingredients:
3-4 lbs. pork shoulder
3 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp pepper
1 3/4 chili powder
1 cup salsa verde
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First, you're going to defrost your meat for 10 minutes, like always. During this time, line your slow cooker with a plastic liner and gather your ingredients. After your meat is defrosted place your carnitas meat within the slow cooker.
Next, you're going to add all of your ingredients in there. Give it a nice stir/mix to make sure all of the meat is well coated.
Then, you're going to close the lid and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours. The end result of the meat should be very tender and falling apart!

That's it, your meal is ready to be served! I'll include a picture of the finished result, like always. I served mine over Mexican rice and made some tortillas to go along with it. A very simple and easy meal to make. I hope y'all get to try it out, you won't regret it!
Until next time,
Zelly :)
