Hello hello hello! I saw this and thought it would be pretty cool to share some records I am currently listening to and some info about them, etc :)

The dreaming(Album) by Kate bush. A very influential album, influencing artists such as Björk due to its mixing and how experimental the record was. A track I really like is Pull Out The Pin!

Boys for pele(Album) by Tori amos. Not only does the track have some experimental lyrics, it explores the genre of baroque pop (rock influenced by music from the baroque era) wonderfully with harpsichords and the usual instruments that Amos uses in her music. Professional Widow’s one of my favourite songs ever :)))

International Velvet(Album) by Catatonia. One of the most iconic albums of the Cool Cymru movement in wales, it is a prideful and nostalgic album with a warm sensation to it. Track rec: Mulder and Scully

Haunted(Album) by Poe. An album that is actually based on the artist’s father passing away. It has amazing transitions and a lot of the mixing is much to my liking. Track rec: Control

I Megaphone(Album) by Imogen heap. Surprisingly this record doesn’t really have a lot of guitars, even if it is very much an electronic punk-ish record. Unfortunately, Heap (the icon who sang hide and seek) doesn’t really return to this style but the rest of her records are also superb. Track rec: Getting scared

Fairytales of Slavery(Album) by Miranda Sex Garden. Intense, heavy with instrumentals and almost industrial like aspects, it’s amazing! Very noisy and saturated but also eerie, so I’d recommend playing it on a speaker. Track rec: Cut

Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?(Album) By metric. Yes, the iconic band who made Black Sheep for Scott pilgrim, this album also kind of gives me an SP vibe! This record in its entirety is Uber nostalgic for me, especially with their keyboard riffs and such: Track rec: Dead Disco

Some random tracks I recommend by various artists are My 2(Arca), 666 IN LUXAXA(Backxwash), Mr. Bubbles(Dengue fever) and Indigo Boy(Esthero)

I hope you enjoy the recs!
