ean's conundrums ch. 0 | hello world!

ahoy!! my name is ean, but i also go by hawko, kip, and quark. i'm preparing to move to from the big city to the middle of nowhere for college and i've got a natural tendency to ramble, so i figured that now would be the perfect time to start a blog! i'm a little new to all this, so forgive me if i make any silly mistakes. anyways, here's a bit more of a detailed about me!

i like to consider myself "blessed with unluckiness." me and lady luck have never really been on good terms, but i don't really mind! every day, she throws me into Some kind of misfortune. it's never anything major, but it's always inconvenient. my friends started calling these unlucky occurrences "ean conundrums" and the name kinda stuck. being unlucky isn't really all that bad though, because i'm always able to get a cool or funny story out of it! ⁽ᵃᵗ ˡᵉᵃˢᵗ ᵗʰᵃᵗ'ˢ ʰᵒʷ ᶦ ᶜᵒᵖᵉ ʷᶦᵗʰ ᶦᵗ⁾ but that kind of optimism is necessary!! there's always beauty and fun to be found in the little things, even if every little thing never seems to go your way!

aside from my obsession with luck, i'm also really into trinkets of all kinds! i assign a lot of sentimental value to trinkets, so receiving or gifting them is a very special thing to me. my favorite kinds of trinkets to collect are playing cards. i just think its so cool seeing all the designs that people make and i love using them for tricks and games with my friends. there's just so much that you can do with a deck of cards that just scratch my brain. i also like collecting gunpla model kits because they look neat and i like doing stuff with my hands. putting them together is a very brain off activity that lets me chill. 

lately, i've been trying to get into the paranormal. i've never really considered myself a religious or even superstitious person (aside from luck lol), but there's something so captivating about the unknown. as a kid, i was super into ufos and aliens and ghosts and stuff but would always get shutdown for being too weird about it. now that i'm in my self-care slay era, i'm embracing all the weird stuff i used to get teased for. and like. i'm literally moving to a small town in the midwest to study electronics engineering. that's such a perfect setup to make trinkets and go ghost hunting and ufo watching. i will make sure to document any findings here!!

i think that about sums it up! i look forward to sharing my ean conundrums and any spooky findings ooOooOh...! haha what a dorky thing to say. anyways, here's to hoping i figure out all this blog stuff and also survive living on my own in the middle of nowhere!
