Is it normal to treat your internal thoughts like a different entity from yourself? I sometimes catch myself talking to myself, answering my own questions as a way of confirming my knowledge and when I do this I treat my inner thoughts and monologue as if it was a different creature than my audible self. I think I might have accidentally personified my own brain, as an individual, if that makes any sense.
Am I going crazy or is this just a normal autism thing that all autism enjoyers experience?
(I specified this as an autism thing because I am guessing it has something to do with that)

I think that's normal. Lots of people will talk to theirselves if that's what helps them think clearly or to sort out any thought.
