Where does a Person Start and Where Does an Avatar End? 

 I Was Prompted with this question While Watching a Video. I Think it's an interesting question that People don't Think about a lot. A Person vs An Avatar. I think Some people Forget there's a Difference. That the People you see Online aren't Real one Way or Another.

 Most of us, Whether it be me or You, are Putting on some type of Act while on the internet. Whether that be Vocabulary, Photos, Gender, maybe even Everything about you, it's all an Act in the End. You Don't talk like that in Real Life. You Don't Pose like that in Real Life. You may Not like when People use those Pronouns in Real Life. You Don't Act like That in Real Life. It's all Fake. Even the most Real people are Putting on some Kind of Performance.

I Don't think there's anything Wrong with putting on an Act. Most people do it all the Time. It's Unavoidable especially on a Place as Accessible as the internet. There is a Problem, However, With people who Struggle to Differentiate Real people from their Personas. A good Example that Comes to Mind is that of Celebrities and Their Fans.

The Most recent example I Can think of is that of the MrBeast Situation with one of the Members, whom I've Forgotten the Name of, Coming out as Trans on What I Think was a Stream. People were, Naturally and Sadly, Transphobic right off the Bat. Many of them Claiming MrBeat himself Looked 'Sad' during the Stream. Do you Know why? It's Because they're Used to him being Super Energetic. That's it. People were so Used to his Persona that When they Saw him being Calm about the Whole thing like a Normal human they Registered him as Being Sad and Not like himself.

That's just a Single Example. Basically every single Content Creator does Something to make Themselves more interesting and to Cater to their Audience. Sometimes their Audience can't tell that their Favorite content Creator is Putting on an Act. This can and Often times Does become a Problem.

Where does a Person Start and Where Does an Avatar End? I'm Not too Sure. But it does End Somewhere and Start soon After. It's Really up to you to Think, "Is this a Natural human Behavior?" And if the Answer is Yes, Ask a friend on a Different side of the internet. Just in Case you're so Used to people Acting a Certain way that you Forget that the People Around you aren't like 'Most People.'
