Loneliness, a plague ridden throughout our modern society. Why are we so lonely? Now, there is a healthy lonely that is needed for growth. But, the lonely we speak of is that in which there are people around us yet, there is a signal that beams from us signaling help. And, though there are people around us, they are too busy or don’t care enough to answer this call. It makes the victim feel lonely, alone in their fight. To add on, people will criticize the victims every action, thought process and words to the point that this victim weasels back into its lonely state. Why is this meant to be? If the purpose of falling is to get back up, where is the growth in this? When the victim thinks they found someone that does care about their faults and wants to help get them back up, they are instead used and utilized into just helping the perpetrator get back on their feet just for the victim to be left alone once again. Is this act of selfishness required for humans to climb up the ladder of mentality? No, it’s just simply not a cultural practice anymore to have compassion for others. While the victim is far from perfect, he indeed suffers for attempting to keep compassion in this world. This volunteer of suffering, unfortunately, has one big wall to climb and looks to possibly be too tall for his lifetime to manage. Technology, the fourth reich of human extinction. The breeding and festering of technological advancements have become a fascist state in itself, most people including the victim are stuck and forced to use modern technological machinery to earn a wage, complete transactions, publish works, etc. This new world code that is demanded upon all modern citizens must be stopped, will it be though? Probably not, and the hopelessness that lies between the lines of sorrow and pleasure will never be ripped and torn from this modern civilization. If modern technology was to be stopped, it would need to halted immediately and receive a death penalty for all of its crimes. Yet, there is too lack of interest to disconnect and reconnect with the people around us.
