i kicked over some empty cans in the corner, and saw something growing there. i'm not certain what it is. it's grey, and seems to just absorb the color from the world around it. it's really tiny, i might call an exterminator if i remember to. i thought it was a fungus, or some mushrooms or something, but the closest thing i could find were oyster mushrooms, but even then, they're less...concentrated? it feels like they're pulsing. that's the wrong word. i feel like they're breathing.
it was really gross, though. i didn't really know what to do, so i just gave it a wide berth and slept on the couch. should i be worried about ingesting the spores? it didn't seem to be puffing up dust or anything, but my whole room is kind of dusty, so i guess i wouldn't have really noticed.
any shroom officionados? i cracked my phone camera months ago so i cant really get a good picture, but i could draw it.

Are you still at your friend's dorm? I think that's safer than being at your home right now. I also agree with the other comment that said to call a professional!
i ended up deciding against calling a professional. i’ll update st some point with my reasons why. it’s really weird. it’s been doing something recently.

repost from a comment on another post like it, it's likely ghost mushrooms (but i'm not sure) which are very poisonous! get an exterminator if you can /srs

im not doing that. i feel too worried to even touch it, honestly. looking at it makes me feel like im being watched, or something horrible is happening, and the thought of having that inside me makes me feel like it will eat me alive

You should be breaking out the vacuum and carpet shampoo WAT THE HELL
i would, but i busted my vac a while back and even if i didn't, it also doesn't look like it's vacuumable? it's one of those things where your mom would yell at you if you got it stuck in the vacuum nozzle. i'm anxious about just grabbing it because, you know, unknown fungus.
