The best company ever

Finally, a targetted ad that was actually a targetted ad and not something dumb or irrelevant. It popped up last night and I lost my mind. They're an Australian company called "I Love A Hangar" and they mainly make shoes based on various war planes. You can see where this is going. 

But to make a long story short, I bought two pairs of shoes. I needed some anyway, and this is much better than getting Vans. One of the pairs is literally based specifically on the SR-71 on display at the air museum I went to a couple months back. So I had to get that pair. Now, next time I go back to that museum, I can wear those! 

Ahh, so today was Eurovision! It was very nice. I enjoyed it. Though, I do sorta wish Finland would have won. They were so close, and their song was so catchy! Congrats to Sweden regardless - 2024 is gonna be epic! 

I got so excited when Go_A started performing! Man, I've been obsessed with their music since 2021 so it was great to see them again. Same goes for Dadi Freyr, what a throwback! And "Keith" from Subwoofer being the representative for Norway's jury? That was just the cherry on top. 

Hmm, did I mention that a Ukrainian war plane flew past our house yesterday? It was so cool to see in person even if it was distant. I wonder what they were doing out here. Today, there were two P-51 Mustangs going for a little joyride, but our visibility wasn't the best today so I couldn't see them, sadly. 

Tomorrow I need to get my letters together into one envelope so that I can mail them out to the FAA. Things are looking good so far - but I'm looking at August for getting that medical clearance. Or even November if they're still bothering me. But at least I know I'm not the only person to have to wait a whole year for a medical clearance. 

I'll just get super good at everything else that doesn't involve solo-ing in the meantime!
