Thought Provoking Shitpost #1: Religion and Man's Reach For Total Control

Religion is being used as a control device.

This may sound a stretch, however it can be proved. For starters, every religion that follows something has a set list of rules one must follow to achieve a land of happiness or something appealing to the lusts of the human heart. To reach this blissful Elysium, one is usually told how to act and use earthly possessions of monetary value or otherwise. Now, this may seem logical, the old sacrafice-reward. However, this doesn't make sense in terms of a higher power. Why would these rules be in place if what we do doesn't affect their power over us?

  See, now these rules scare people into doing things, often claiming that a punishment beyond our mind's perception will be dished out if not followed. Looking at America's laws, they are highly based on the Ten Commandments of Catholocism (Ex: Propriety Rights, Theft, Punishments, etc.). The nation uses these threats as a backing for their own punishments, working for the most part. 
  During the quarantines, many churches closed. This sent more people looking to the government and their sciences for answers, instead of someone higher. From this came severe trust in the so-called democracy and government, entirely man-made. So, people started to accept things that they imposed. This includes:

- Economical Changes
- New Social Norms, such as Cancel Culture
- A slowly-developing socialist agenda

And the list goes on. Modern activities have a large separation between a lawful sort and a twisted bliss. People are attacked for having a differing opinion than the masses, the family unit is being destroyed, and what would be, for many Christians, a Sunday with family, is now used for the sloth of social media. 

In conclusion, the closure of churches has led many away from god, and instead to follow the government and Liberal agenda.

But thats just my opinion on that fun topic.
